NOTE: THIS IS CURRENTLY SCHEDULED ONLY AT SILK & STEEL AERIAL ARTS IN JANESVILLE, WI When: Saturday, 9/26 1:00-2:15 PM Where: Silk & Steel Aerial Arts (Janesville, WI) . . . Lyra, also known as aerial hoop, is a classic aerial art form that alchemizes the strength and athleticism of conventional sports with the grace, flexibility, and intuitive expression of dance. With roots in circus heritage and historical aerial gymnastics, lyra has inspired individuals from all walks of life to both literally and metaphorically rise above their personal ideations of what is considered "impossible". Join us for an afternoon of all-levels fun as we float, flow, and fly through a short series of moves designed to leave you shining -- in our AERIAL MOON! While securely suspended from the ceiling on a powder-coated steel crescent moon, students will be encouraged and invited to explore a sample selection of level-appropriate positions, transitions, rolls, drops, and / or spins from our full-length Mixed Aerial Dance class. No previous aerial background is required!

Cancellation Policy
All registrations are non-refundable. To reschedule, please contact your instructor at least 24 hours prior to the start of your class or workshop. Note that students are limited to (1) class or workshop credit per semester (Jan-June / July-Dec). No credit will be available for no-call, no-show absences. Credits must be redeemed within 3 months from the date of issuance. In the event that the studio must close (such as due to inclement weather) or the instructor must cancel, a credit will be issued and may be applied towards any future class or workshop of the participant's choice. Credits must be redeemed within 3 months from the date of issuance. After registration, please check for a confirmation email containing location details and class / workshop information. Any schedule updates or cancelation notices will be issued via both email and text message to the contact provided at time of registration. Participants must have completed and signed a copy of our 2026 safety liability waiver prior to participating in any classes or workshops.
